•    The Swedish Massage is originally invented by the Swedish physician. It is the most common and best-known type of massage in the West. The purpose of this massage is to relax the entire body. If you do not have a massage very often, the Swedish massage is one of the good choices for you. The main intention of this is so the therapist can take special care to prevent further damage and assist in the healing process. The therapist lubricates your skin with massage oil and performs various massage strokes. These movements warm up the muscle tissue, releasing tension and gradually breaking up muscle "knots" or adhered tissues, called adhesions. During the massage you are generally nude underneath a towel or sheet. The therapist generally starts by works your back, using various massage strokes that include effleurage, kneading, friction, stretching and tapping.

  •    The standard massage session lasts for 90 to 120 minutes. You can ask the therapist to spend some time on certain area. If the pressure is too light or too firm, you should speak up and ask the therapist to adjust it. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension. Drinking lots of water is recommended after the massage.
